Chinese Crispy Corn Recipe for Home Maker's
Ingredients
To Prepare the Fried Sweet Corn
Sweet corn - 1 cups / 250 gms boiled
Cornstarch - 2 tbsp
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Crushed black pepper - 1 tsp
Water - 1 tbsp
Oil - for deep-frying
Other ingredients
Spring onion greens - 2 tbsp
finely chopped
Onion - 2 tbsp
finely chopped
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, finely chopped
Red chilies powder - ½ tsp
Chat masala - ¾ tsp
Instructions
1. To make the crispy Sweet corn fry recipe, combine the sweet corn kernels, cornstarch, rice flour, salt, and pepper in a
bowl. Give it a mix.
2. Sprinkle some water so that the flours stick to the kernels.
3. Heat oil in a kadhai. Carefully drop the in sweet corn kernels while keeping the heat on medium.
4. The corn kernels pop around a lot so cover the kadhai with a lid leaving a small opening for the steam to escape.
5. Fry them corn until it is crispy and golden.
6. Remove the fried sweet corn onto a plate lined with kitchen towel.
7. Transfer the fried sweet corn to a bowl and add the onions, spring onion greens, coriander leaves, chat masala,
and red chili powder. Give it a quick toss.
Barbeque Nation style crispy corn recipe is ready. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
